Variable geometry round diffusers
The TAB variable geometry diffusers, used in both civil and industrial systems, provide excellent air diffusion by optimising the residual air speed through the rotation of the radial blades around the axis. These diffusers come in two models, for two specific fields of application:
  • TAB 01, for very high installations, with 6 radial blades at variable angles;
  • TAB 02, for installation in normal height environments, with adjustment of the central core on its vertical axis to increase or decrease the induction ratio.
  • TAB variable geometry diffusers, used in both civil and industrial systems;
  • Provide excellent air diffusion by optimising the residual airspeed through the rotation of the radial blades around the axis; Varying the blade angles enables adjustment of the airjets flowing into the environment;
  • TAB 01, for very high installations, with 6 radial blades at variable angles;
  • TAB 02, for installation in normal height environments, with adjustment of the central core on its vertical axis to increase or decrease the induction ratio;
  • The diffusers are available in the following versions:
  • M, with manual control;
  • E, with electrical control (model TAB 01 only);
  • F, with manual control configured for centralised electrical control (model TAB 01 only);
  • P, on a square plate for installation in modular ceilings;
  • These diffusers can be ceiling mounted or fitted onto exposed ducts. They are connected using a specific connecting plenum (equipped with damper on request), to a rigid duct or with a connection to a flexible or rigid duct;
  • Construction: TAB 01 in galvanised steel, painted white in RAL 9010. TAB 02 in painted aluminium, RAL 9010.
  • EQ Equaliser, in perforated sheet steel supplied separately as an accessory;
  • BS protection cage for gymnasiums (for TAB 01 only);
  • S1 Collar (for TAB 01 only);
  • Supply plenum in galvanised sheet steel, with circular side attachment, in versions with internal insulation (model AK I and model BAT I complete with butterfly damper) or without insulation (model AK and model BAT with butterfly damper);
  • Where present, internal insulation is Class 1 polyethylene, 6mm thick.
  • High induction;
  • Manually or electrically adjustable horizontal or vertical airflow;
  • Temperature differential up to 15 K when cooling and 30 K when heating;
  • Suitable for both VAV and CAV systems;
  • Circular opening with diameters from 160mm to 630mm;
  • Installation from 2.5 to 20 metres high, depending on model;
  • Airflow from 100 to 9000m³/h, depending on size.
